The Challenges

Distance Challenge.
Start at a set time on Saturday, and cover a minimum distance of 650 miles (as per mileage on the map). The challenge is completed by arriving at the Final Control before midday on Sunday.

Merit Challenge
Start at a set time on Saturday, and cover a minimum distance 440 miles (as per mileage on the map) calling at 3 numbered receipt points and 4 lettered Receipt Points. The challenge is completed by arriving at the Final Control before midday on Sunday.

Highlander Challenge
Start at a set time on Saturday, and call at 12 specific Receipt Points across the highlands. The challenge is completed by arriving at the Final Control before midday on Sunday.

The Touring Challenge
Start no sooner than 20 days prior to Rally Sunday, covering a minimum distance of 1000 miles, as per distances on the map, and visiting at least 20 Receipt Points

The Islander Touring Challenge
Start no sooner than 20 days prior to Rally Sunday, calling at 6 specific Receipt Points across Skye, Mull and Arran on no more than 4 consecutive day.

The Mystery Challenge
Enter this challenge and be prepared for anything! The mystery challenge can change each year. Mileage, timescale and full details are issued with the final instructions.

The map, details of Receipt Points and further information will be issued at the end of July as part on the Final Instructions.
