From Bev Muizelaar today -
The signage for the Buttertubs is long gone, for reference for other riders......
From Hawes go through Simonstone go over two cattle grids the road the drops very steep with a gorge on the right as the road levels out you will notice a set of stone steps going down into the gorge on the left is a rough layby with a wall this is the Buttertubs (hole number 1 is viewed over the wall) if you wish to see number 2 you have to go down the steps
